At the end of last year, UK-based investor Seymour Capital purchased the former Dakota Nottingham hotel near Sherwood Forest, in the UK, for £11 million. Seymour then leased the hotel to its subsidiary Signature Hotels who entered into a franchise agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group to operate the property as a Holiday Inn. After undergoing a transformation to bring it in line with Holiday Inn standards, the hotel has now been relaunched as the Holiday Inn Nottingham-Sherwood Park.
