Design boutique hotel opens July 1, 2012

Within the walls of what is now the Vander Urbani Resort, owners Amanda and Aleksander Vujadinovič met, got to know each other and started to share their life. And now, they invite guests to share their experience and make their own special memories. Situated centrally on the river bank of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, the surrounding area combines creativity and culture. Right outside the door you can stroll through the lively medieval streets, seek urban hot spots, relax in lush parks and admire the river from romantic bridges. While the facade maintains its historical appearance, the interiors offer something fresh and new. The 16 rooms feature high-end materials, one-of-a-kind design pieces and plush amenities that all add to the homey comfort. Continuous forms, such as patterned stone, and curved walls and doors, create a feeling of openness between the different levels that appear to flow seamlessly from one story to the next. Intimate spaces to reflect and rest abound, from the wine cellar in the basement to the restaurant, lounge bar, and rooftop terrace where guests can take a sunset swim or enjoy the glassed-in yoga studio with views over the city.
