Located at 1,700 metres above sea level on a plateau high above Lech in a car free area, this family-run hotel of the 4-star superior category is directly at the slopes of the Arlberg ski area (ski in-ski out).The ski school and a practice hill are only a few metres away from the hotel. In summer Goldener Berg offer endless hiking possibilities for the Arlberg area.
The cable car, which operates until late at night, takes you to the centre of Lech in only 7 minutes.
Hotel Goldener Berg offers contemporary rooms and suites with modern Alpine charm and combine a cosy ambience with luxurious furnishings.

With its large windows and natural materials such as granite and wood, the 500 m² Alpin Spa offers a very natural ambience. Here you will find an outdoor Jacuzzi, an indoor pool, various saunas and relaxation rooms, a fitness room, and a beauty and massage department. There you will be pampered with beauty products made from edelweiss from the hotel’s own Almstern brand.

Not only the Spa uses local products, the whole hotel including the restaurants places considerable importance on sustainability and thereby obtains its products from local farmers. A solar plant and a biomass district heating plant provide the hotel's central heating and hot water.

Every evening Hotel Goldener Berg lets you choose from the culinary delights in no less than 4 different restaurants. The gourmet Johannesstubli is a long-time holder of two Gault Millau toques. Half-board is possible at an additional cost and must be booked before arrival and for the entire stay. The wine cellar offers a selection of more than 900 different wines and a wine tasting is also on offer.

In the mornings, afternoon and evenings the hotel's Kiddy Club looks after the younger guests. Activities include children’s shows, fashion shows, torchlight hikes, many sports and games, as well as lunch and dinner (children’s buffet). Cribs and baby monitors are available.

Wheater permitting, the 2 big panorama sun terraces are open for (late) lunch and afford beautiful views of the surrounding Lechtal Alps. The hotel bar is open to residents and offers international cocktails and local specialties.
