The Nimb building with its Moorish-style front towards the Tivoli Gardens, dates back to 1909. It was originally synonymous with a restaurant empire in Copenhagen (built by Counsellor Vilhelm Nimb and his wife, Louise) and became the in-spot for the jet set during the First World War years. In 2006, Tivoli acquired the building and started a major refurbishment. In May 2008 Nimb opened its doors to what it is today, where guests can revel in the grandeur and charm from top to bottom and get full sensory satisfaction throughout. Nimb offers everything from classic drinks and rare wines to unique dining experiences in four restaurants (one Michelin starred) to an overnight stay in extraordinary surroundings.
Nimb Hotel has just 14 rooms, 9 of which are suites. No two rooms are alike and here you can luxuriate in unique surroundings with a comforting home-away-from-home atmosphere. All of the rooms are individually decorated with antique furniture, Bang & Olufsen technology, the option to borrow an iPad, a fireplace with birch wood, luxury linen from Geismar's, and free wireless internet. The bathrooms are spacious and all but one feature a bathtub. The art on the walls also merits your attention, as every piece has been hand-picked and hung hung with care. Most of the rooms look out over the charming Tivoli Gardens.
