Created by renowned interior designers Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet, the Five Hotel & Spa is filled with exclusive handcrafted furnishings designed specifically for the hotel by the best craftsmen around the world, each piece alluding to exotic landscapes from around the globe.
The 45 rooms and suites are luxurious, with beds featuring immaculate canopies, tawny borders and large dressing rooms made to look like travelers’ trunks. With a style that marries vintage Riviera glamour with contemporary luxury, all of the hotel’s accommodations offer a refreshing twist in the legendary destination.
The open and lively public spaces are filled with suede banquettes, Bivouac-style armchairs and floral wall panels. Iconic Mediterranean blues, rich cream and vivid red set the color palate mimicking life outside of the hotel. On the roof, the ceiling, dotted with hundreds of small lanterns, leads to a bar covered with mother-of-pearl and a terrace, where cocktails and snacks can be enjoyed on the sundeck next to the infinity pool. Here, white daybeds are contrasted by bright splashes of turquoise and there are views over the rooftops of Cannes.
Also influenced by the five continents of the world, the Spa by Cinq Mondes is a destination in its own right. After touring high-end spas around the world for ten years, French-born Jean-Louis Poiroux created the Cinq Mondes brand, researching little known beauty rituals from cultures across the globe and translating the interior concepts as well to fit the unique Five Hotel & Spa ambience.
