Prenzlauer Berg
Whether you’re young or just young at heart, our accommodation offers you exceptional design on a small budget. The contrasting combination of 19th century industrial architecture and modern interior design gives our hostel a character all its own. Look up and be reminded of our historical beginnings. Our dorms have kept the original red-and-yellow brick vaulted ceilings, while our hallways are bright and colorful. You won’t find blank, anonymous spaces here! Each floor has a unique style based on its dominant color pair. We love our lobby, where you’ll find the reception, the bar and the breakfast room. The 6-meter high ceiling retains its original brick vaulting. Here you’ll get a good idea of all the changes the building has gone through in its long history and variety of uses.
Surprising organic forms create an atmosphere somewhere between a paved courtyard and an urban wild garden. Diffused background lighting on the walls and ceiling provides illumination. Light intermingles with surface and becomes a material object. The lobby and the double rooms on the third floor are equipped with specially designed furniture. Steel, plywood and color. Simple materials and clear forms create a quiet and elegant charm.
