Kloster Marienhoh Hideaway & Spa Description

The elaborately restored Marienhöh convent hotel is located in the idyllic town of Langweiler, high in the forests of the Hunsrück mountains. The entrance to the convent is through a massive wooden gate, and once inside, guests can sink into comfortable lounge chairs in the reception area or relax with a good book in front of the open fireplace right next door in the Pilgrims Lounge. The Mission House’s guestrooms are located on the first floor, and the Twelve Apostles House next door offers additional guestrooms decorated in a modern style. At the centre of the convent is the historical garden with its delicate red quarry-stone brickwork. In the summer, the garden is used as an outdoor restaurant. The Noble Abbey, a four-storey timber-framed building, has been preserved and houses the restaurant, which offers regional and Mediterranean specialities, as well as meeting rooms and charming maisonette suites. And of course the hotel would not be complete without a spacious spa area. The generous “Klostertherme” features a variety of saunas and pools, and in the second oasis of relaxation, the “Heilig-Geist” spa on the roof top of the hotel, guests can find absolute peace and seclusion and can choose from a wide array of beauty treatments and massages. Please note that our spa area will be completed in October 09.
