Vulkan
The Scandic Vulkan is designed by Stylt Trampoli, who designed other hotels on this website such as the Radisson Sonya in St Petersburg, Trafalgar in London, Klaus K in Helsinki and Lydmar in Stockholm.
The hotel is located in the new up-and-coming Vulkan district by the Akerselva River in northern Oslo, 5 minutes’ walk from the trendy Grünerløkka district. Oslo city centre is 2km away.
Standard rooms are 10-18m2 and have wooden floors, bathroom, iron and ironing board, safe deposit box, flat-screen satellite TV, work desk and chair, lounge chair and free Wi-Fi. Superior rooms are larger with 15-21m2, some offer bathtubs.
Guests can enjoy free gym access or rent a bike for free to explore Oslo.
Scandic Vulkan has a polular restaurant V serving local Norwegian specialities. Drinks are available in the bar.
