Grand Daddy Hotel Description

The Grand Daddy is located in the vibrant city centre of the Mother City, within walking distance of Table Bay Harbour and popular Long Street.

Famous for its Airstream rooftop trailer park, but a wonderful stylish world waits within. Except for the seven revamped Airstream trailers hauled from across the Atlantic guests can choose two sumptuous suites and a range of luxury and superior rooms. All are designed by Cape Town style doyenne Tracy Lynch and feature local touches such as lampshades decorated with clouds of South African place names and headboards are bedecked with African-aloe outlines. Further expect all amenities from an international four star hotel.
Each Airstream trailer is individually themed by a local artist. Choose "Afro-funk", "The Balad of John & Yoko", "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" or other.

Downstairs The Restaurant is open for breakfast (healthy, hearty or on the run) and lunch or late lunch. Choose either African, Mediterranean or Eastern. The Daddy Cool Bar is where the cool set comes to kick back in style for a glass of champagne, a sexy cocktail or a rare tequila. The Sky Bar is set on the rooftop's trailer back and provides a unique setting with a view.

The friendly staff creates an inviting atmosphere for guests, provides 24-hour assistance and can offer tips on what to do and see in the area.
