This hotel is made out of three parts. The latest addition, which houses the reception and the superiour rooms, is designed by Swiss uber-architects Herzog & de Meuron. Be sure to like white, because that's the central theme of the Herzog & de Meuron 'wing' Rooms are stark white, except for a brown leather chaise longue and the wooden floor. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling 'no glare' windows. Kinda strange, 'cause you still have the feeling of being watched. Loved the very spacious bathroom with walk-in 'monsoon' shower. When checking in an American tour group arrived after me. They looked kind of puzzled in the reception/lounge area. Guess they booked the older rooms and then the reception gives totally the wrong impression.
